Maybe we could write a new book. Maybe we can keep it real.

There’s a river running from the present to the past.
Time is the current we have some questions we need to ask:
What is History? Who is telling the story?
Whose voice is missing? Who is getting the glory?

You can deny us a place in time and space in a city and state relying on race to justify the hate that some whites created - you’d be lyin’ to my face to say that I am safe.
